Our New Summer Festival Emu Eggshell Carving Kit contains everything you will need to carve beautiful emu eggs and other larger (thick) eggshells. Emu eggs are known for being some of the hardest eggshells to carve because of their three different colored layers. However, they make the most dramatic eggshells for this same reason.

Dr. Lew will take you through the entire process, step by step in the instructional dvd. You will get to see every step of the process from pattern layout to completion. The pattern Dr. Lew chose to carve is included in the artwork CD ROM, along with 34 other pages of patterns. All of the patterns on the disc have been hand-picked by Profitable Hobbies just for eggshells. The patterns are in PDF format as well as JPEG format on the disc, allowing you to resize them for your particular project.

The glass dome included in the kit is a large glass dome, perfect for emu or rhea eggshells. It includes a beautiful walnut base to display your carved eggshell perfectly. The brass eggshell stand will present your work of art for you to enjoy and show all your friends.

Also included in the kit is 5 sheets (8.5 X 11) of our pattern stencil film for transferring patterns onto the eggshells.
