Hone's Design Studio, located in picturesque Benjamin, Utah is the Intermountain West's premier custom furniture design shop, in the tradition of fine old-world hand carved furnishings. Hone's Design Studio has been awarded the "People's Choice Award" and the "Best of Show" at the Western Design Conference in Cody, Wyoming. Using only top-grade select woods, Al Hone and sons Kalib and Kade continue the calling of the master craftsmen of the Hone family.

Father and sons team Al, Kalib and Kade, with 44 years of combined woodworking and design experience are the third generation to run Hone's Design Studio. They have superb teachers in their father and grandfather.

Some of our talents can be seen in the work we create, such as fine wood carving, the special techniques in the finish we apply, the flawless workmanship and the way we use textures to create interest. We design each piece to have a focal point catch an admirers eye and lead them through the piece as if it was a fine painting. So, we create not only fine furniture, but a piece of art.

We have a strong background in design and art, as well as all phases of the woodworking and construction fields. We have spent much time developing and applying our special techniques which we apply to each piece we create. When we start a piece, we put a lot of time in the design and we feel as if we are creating a one-of-a-kind piece of fine art. Then we apply our love of nature, the serenity of living in the Rocky Mountains and the desire to create something with our hands. Then we add perfection and passion. Everyone needs some kind of passion in their lives. For us, our passion is to create something with our hands, something we can stand back and be proud of. When you see our work, we hope you not only see the passion, but feel the passion in each piece we create.
