We've all heard the old clique, "You can do anything you set your mind to." Well, Robert Lee is living proof of the accuracy of this statement. His talents and experiences reach so far. I have had the opportunity to work with Robert for several years now and he is definitely one of the most caring and trusted individuals I have ever met. He is always willing to help with anything he can. Sue also helps with the blasting projects and Robert constantly reminds me how lucky he is to have her by his side.

Robert has a great outlook on life and always finds the good in every situation.

When I think of Robert, I think of things such as animation expert, photoshop guru, photographer, video producer, editor, woodworker, glass sandblaster, artist, engraver, marquetry and inlay expert, guitar builder, hot rod fanatic, and the most important ones - teacher and friend.

Robert has built custom guitars that have landed in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He has built several for many famous musicians including EmmyLou Harris, David Crosby, and Laura Lynch (The Dixie Chicks). Robert's work has appeared in countless magazines and publications, as you can see. (These are just a few.)

He has now turned some of his focus to Micro-Sandblasting where he and Sue blast incredible detail into doors, wine bottles, glasses, perfume bottles and more. Sue is a big part of Robert's success, she does most of the actual blasting.

Robert possesses a certain quality that makes him stand out from the crowd. There are many people possessing great amounts of knowledge, but finding someone willing to share that knowledge with others, is truly unique. Robert's willingness to share everything he knows makes him a great person to be around.

Robert and Sue have recently opened the Big Tree Learning Center in Napa Valley, California and are now taking students wanting to learn how to build their own custom guitar. The learning center also teaches glass sandblasting courses and Marquetry and Inlay techniques in Napa Valley.
